Helicopter Work Aids is owned and operated by three A&P Mechanics and has been in operation since around 1989.

Our mission: "Providing the highest quality helicopter work aids for the lowest prices."

Since our beginning, we have quadrupled the size of our operations, and our customer base has expanded to 64 countries world-wide and counting. Our motto "By Mechanics, For Mechanics" is taken quite literally. Helicopter Work Aids was built from our passion for the industry and designed for our peers and customers like you! We encourage feedback and suggestions to guarantee we meet your expectations every time.

Who better serves this industry than those who are in it? Unlike many of our competitors, we know the day-to-day life of this demanding career. We lived it for a total of over 50 years. Allan and Jay are now full time along with 2 full time employees, Tainna and Sheriden and Shane who is part time.
Joseph is still working on helicopters  and coming up with new ideas and improving our old ones.

Being part of this industry allows us to stay in touch with YOU the customer, and adapt our products to your needs. We work and consult with mechanics daily to ensure our focus and maintain our mission. Helicopter Work Aids truly is designed with the A&P Mechanic in mind.

We keep a good supply of our work aids in stock.  We normally can fill 80% of our work aids within 2-3 days.) Since some need to be manufactured, we do not charge until we are ready to ship.  Once payment is received,we will then ship your order.

For this reason our site does not have a shopping cart. Simply click on the contact button and list in the comment section what you need or are looking for. If you don't see it let us know what it is you are looking for.

Most manufacturers have drawings of locally fabricated work aids in their manuals. If you see one that you need and don't have the time nor capability to make, let us know.

If at any time you have any doubts or questions, do not hesistate to contact us!

We also have a FAQ page for commonly asked questions.
